Paging Doctor Snappy. You’re needed for a high-five, STAT.

Looks Inspired by Dr. Snappy

Every once in a while, a brave, convention-bucking doctor comes along and leaves the lab coats in the dust.

I had the pleasure of meeting one this week. My friend’s neurosurgeon wore a fresh, bright, snazzy outfit every day.

We started calling him Dr. Snappy.

Today’s Fashion Friday post is devoted to the looks I’ve seen him rock this week. (Please imagine the following with khakis or tasteful grey slacks.)

Monday: Classic preppy, with embroidered flower inside collar. I couldn’t find a shirt with the inner flower detail. This shirt (GAP, $49.95), blazer (Brooks Brothers, $448), and shoe (Sperry Top-Sider, $160) combination will have to get the message across.

Tuesday: Dr. Snappy and the Amazing Technicolor Dream-Shirt. If this were biblical times, Dr. Snappy’s siblings would have totally plotted against him for this amazing top (similar to this one, Saks, $114) and blazer (similar to this one, Brooks Brothers, $698) set. I don’t remember his shoes, but how cool are these (J. Crew, $110)? Answer: so cool.

Wednesday: Navy and paisley. Dr. Snappy is a daring guy. His look was a lot like this paisley shirt (Express Men, $69.90), blazer (Nordstrom, $895), and shoe (Rockport, $160) combination.

Thursday: He was in scrubs, so I made this up. While looking through men’s fashion stuff, I was also collecting stuff I thought was cute. I’m hoping to find ladies’ equivalents of this outfit so I can wear it. Selfish, selfish, I know. It’s like this blog is about me or something. Shirt (J. Crew, $64.50), blazer (Brunello Cucinelli, $2171.51), & awesomest shoes ever (Cole Haan, $198).

This post  is also dedicated to the wonderful work he did on my friend’s spine, but pictures of that would not make this blog more attractive. Aside from the occasional curse-word, I honestly do try to keep it classy up in here.

Those neon pink shoes, they make me swoon; and I do not care for pink I say.
