Steelers fans, rejoice: black and gold is no longer the sole reign of little old ladies from the 1980s. Ever since I tried out my new nail polish, which is a mix of gold-ish color and black, the combo has begun to appeal to me. Plus, since I’m dyeing my hair a preposterous shade of peroxide blonde, this is a perfect combo.
If Etsy were a house, I would move into it.
Here are some favorite black & gold items I love:
1) Teacup & saucer ($55); 2) Striped leggings ($59); 3) Sequined dress ($60); 4) Dress ($38); 5) Beaded necklace ($14.25); 6) Black & gold glitter nail polish ($8.50); 7) Geometric necklace ($39); 8) Black diamond ring ($2,449); 9) Zipper flower headband ($12.99); & 10) Dangle earrings ($22).
I’ve also begun to really love red & silver.
Here are a few red/grey items I adore:
And finally, teal and copper is probably for old dirty hippies, but I’m not sure I care:
1) Spruce necklace ($14.50); 2) Chest of drawers ($250); 3) Triangle necklace ($85); 4) Flower earrings ($55); 5) Purse ($250); 6) Satin scarf (~$43); 7) Peacock earrings ($49); and 8) Turquoise lava necklace (~$60 for one).
I’ve never seen lava used in a necklace! That’s awesome.
I researched the lava-jewelry thing and found some amazing stuff. This sidetrack wasn’t originally going to be in the post, but when I find something cool, I want to share it with everyone:
What a cool, spongy texture!
1) Steampunk necklace (~$12.50); 2) Weight of the Earth ring ($192); 3) Lava in dice necklace ($199); 4) Cuff ($320); 5) Silver & crystal lava necklace ($26); 6) Lava cube & pyrite necklace ($35); 7) Pastel lava necklace ($25); 8) Squares & stone necklace ($); & 9) Lava & crystal pendant ($235).
Happy Friday, everyone! Enjoy your weekend!
